I wanted to show attendees enjoying the club's music and community using a scrappy "punkish" collage with all photos and videos shot by myself at the club since its relaunch in 2022.
Bad Baron - Edge Of Our Dreams - Music Video 2022
The band wanted a video which showcased their lighthearted / “tongue in cheek” attitude which was also tied in with their debut album’s artwork. We shot on location in northern Finland and wanted to capture a 1980s TV show intro sequence - but due to restrictions on time and equipment trouble, we had to adapt our plans, so the performance segment became more prominent. Sequences with the speedboat were shot at a later date with reference footage/ storyboards sent to the operator to match.
Grave Robbert - Ecstasy - Music Video 2019
The Artist contacted me after seeing a video I had made for another artist, they liked its style so we worked together to plan out a video for their song. The video tells the story of a man chasing the ecstasy of an intoxicating night. The artist was thrilled with the end product and we have worked on later projects since.
Bad Baron - Going Down In Flames - Music Video 2022
The first of two music videos for the band’s debut album and the heaviest-sounding track on the release - The band wanted to lean into their “sleaze-metal” side and we worked together to shoot a fast-paced music video with the band surrounded by flaming barrels.
Kabuki - Silver - Music Video 2022
The theatrically inspired band wanted a video which showed off their live shows and out there stage personas. We captured the footage at a range of venues around London and worked closely to ensure that the video captured the vibe & aesthetic of the band as they wanted to use the video to encourage promoters to book them for shows.
Victory At Hand - Still Standing - Music/ Lyric Video 2018
The artist wanted a lyric video to emphasize this song as a party anthem; I suggested we combine video and lyrics to make this stand out and pack a punch that wouldn’t be possible with their initial idea. The video was shot over two days and tells a story of excess in a group of friend’s quest for a never-ending party.
Bad Baron - Sweet Talker - Music Video 2021
The first in a series of collaborations with the band, who approached me based on my prior work with a member of the band and my experience in their musical genre. Sweet Talker, filmed remotely in Finland - Directed from London. I worked with the remote camera operator to outline and block out what shots and actions were needed, then provided further direction over Zoom. We recorded 2 music videos against an LED backdrop, with background loops created in After Effects, the music video was edited in Adobe Premiere.
Bad Baron - Sky High - Music Lyric Video 2021
I utilised a pre-existing 3D model of a fighter jet combined with stock footage, I also created several animated backgrounds and scenes in Blender 3D. The edit was outlined in Premiere, with lyrics added in After Effects.
